CANELO ALVAREZ ALVAREZ’s next opponent won’t be ‘a man for boxers’.
That’s according to ESPN boxing reporter Salvador Rodriguez, in a big hint that it MAY be boxer Jake Paul.
Fresh from his KO win over Tyron Woodley in their rematch, Paul calls for a scrap against multi-division world champion Canelo.
Posting a clip on the sidelines of KO, Paul captioned: “I’ve KOed everyone I’ve fought.”
In a follow-up announcement, he wrote: “I hope you’re training @Canelo.”
Paul, 24, has set his sights on a date with the Mexican boxing legend, 31, and has his eye on the bout in 2024.
Most boxing fans have completely erased any chance for Paul against boxing legend Canelo.
But Rodriguez’s latest words have excited some on social media that Paul can get his wish.

Paul has been referring to Canelo for a number of months, seemingly desperate for a chance to face a ‘boxer’.
Although he has KOed all of his opponents so far, those are UFC fighters and a basketball star.
Canelo will present what many believe will be mission impossible.
The Mexican tennis player showed his intention to step up to cruiser and take on WBC champion Ilunga Makabu.
But that happened fairly recently, with the likes of Artur Beterbiev and Dimitry Bivol touting as potential contenders in the light-heavyweight division.
