Cameron Robbins, a teenager from LOUISIANA, has been reported missing after falling overboard while on a cruise in the Bahamas.
According to a local, Robbins was on a trip with his classmates after graduation from Baton Rouge CBS affiliate WAFB News.
He was reportedly dared to jump off the boat and witnesses said he disappeared after splashing in the water.
The US Coast Guard tweeted they would be helping to find the missing teenager who went missing on Wednesday night.
The principal of the high school that Robbins attended released a statement that read: “The University Lab School community is praying for the best possible outcome of this situation.”
“I have contacted Cameron’s family and at this time authorities are still searching for him in the Bahamas.”

Update from the Coast Guard
The US Coast Guard announced on Twitter that they will assist in the search for Cameron Robbins.
Their statement released yesterday morning said: “Coast Guard crews are assisting the Royal Bahamas Defense Force in the search for a missing US citizen believed to have fallen overboard while on a sunset cruise near Nassau last night.”
They added in a separate tweet that flight crews will also assist in the search.
