And until a recent video showing him kicking for the first time since the horror injury, most of McGregor’s training consisted of boxing.

In a new clip, he showed off his famous left hand with booming counterattacks and sharp right hooks.

McGregor, 33, captioned the post: “Call those enders.”

The former UFC two-weight champion appears to be on vacation after posing on a yacht and enjoying a warm-weather workout.

It has been 11 months since his last fight when he broke his shin in the loss to Dustin Poirier.

McGregor, who has one win and one loss against 33-year-old Poirier, faced the American for the third time at UFC 264.

However, seconds before the end of the first lap, he broke his leg and lost due to a doctor’s stop.

McGregor faced several assignments before his return but UFC boss Dana White prefers a fight with Michael Chandler, 36.

Meanwhile, 32-year-old lightweight champion Charles Oliveira has also offered to defend his title against the returning Dubliner.

Oliveira told ESPN Brazil: “It would be a very good fight for me.

“It would put a lot of money in my pocket and that’s the most important thing.

“And it would be really good for my legacy too, for me to have it in my story.

“Regardless of whether he comes from a loss or not, he’s a guy who made history so I think it would be great, but it’s not just me.

“If it were up to me, this fight would already be happening.

“I have a daughter to raise. Everyone wants to fight Conor, not just me.

“Everyone knows that fighting Conor is very profitable. I’m talking money and Conor knows everyone wants to fight him.”
