Call of Duty: Warzone PacificCaldera’s map includes 15 drop zones, according to a first look at the battle royale’s new setting, tweeted Tuesday morning by the game’s official account.
Caldera, which is said to be the same size, although slightly larger than the Verdansk map, will be available for Call of Duty: Vanguard the owners on December 8. Free to play Battlefield players can receive in the next day. New map changes name of battle royale to Warzone Pacific and the opening of the first season of Vanguard Multiplayer.
The map posted on Tuesday gives a better sense of Caldera’s in-game size than the tactical map (sewn into a jacket lining, no less) tease in early November.
Call of Duty: Battlefield see off Verdansk with a limited-time event, called “Verdansk Last Hour,” which begins Tuesday at 1 p.m. EST. Raven Software says players can tune in to “see what happened to Verdansk before” Battlefield take the evening to prepare for Caldera,” and it will be “a spectacular and fitting end to your time in Verdansk. ”
In addition to 15 drop zones, Caldera will feature more than 200 attractions, ranging from sandy beaches to dormant basements, as well as mysterious ruins, a capital city and a submarine base.
Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific will fully integrate with all players progress, items and payloads. “Expect all your Service Providers, Calling Cards and more from Black Ops’ Cold War and Modern War stay Battlefield, as well as cross-development and Seasonal Prestige,” Raven said.
