Longer security lines are expected to last longer during holiday travel, but you can check current waiting times before heading to the airport at flydenver.com.
“And Denver is the third busiest airport from now on,” said Alex Renteria, a spokesperson for Denver International Airport. “My biggest advice is to go to DEN during your busiest travel with your patience as everyone just wants to be with their loved ones or get where they need to be.”
There have also been some changes to the TSA lines recently. Passengers with TSA Pre-Check should go to North Security and passengers with standard screening should use South Security and Bridge A.
“Those changes will hopefully alleviate some of the difficulty because what we see ahead of these changes is that a lot of people have gone the wrong way, which causes confusion and frustration if you go to the wrong place. in the end or you can’t. use the card you paid for,” says Renteria.
As for parking, the Pikes Peak shuttle is open until January 6, 2022, and the East Economic Lot is closed during that time.
If you’re parking at Pikes Peak, airport officials suggest allowing yourself an extra 30 minutes to get to the terminal.
