Burnley delights fans with another hilarious transfer reveal as they confirm Michael Obafemi’s deal with Gavin & Stacey clip

BURNLEY pulled it out of the bag again as her social media team let fans down with yet another brilliant transfer announcement.
The runaway Championship leaders on Sunday completed the signing of striker Michael Obafemi, on loan from Swansea until the end of the season.
And the 22-year-old’s arrival was announced with another epic social media video.
Burnley opted for a Gavin and Stacey-inspired clip for the Republic of Ireland star.
In the video, Obafemi receives a call from Smithy, the character played by James Corden on the hit BBC comedy series.
The hotshot answers the phone and Smithy, his sister Rudy, then produces a version of Estelle and Kanye West’s “American Boy” song.
Obafemi starts giggling before telling them it’s “very good” and then asks how long it took to put it together – to which the answer is “two or three weeks”.
Fans absolutely loved it and many claim it’s the media team’s best yet.
One person tweeted, “I don’t know who trusted this admin to pull this off, but I’m here for it.”
Another commented, “Burnley has the best announcement videos in the world.”

While another fan wrote: “Babe wake up Burnley just released another transfer announcement video.”
It comes days after Vincent Kompany’s side completed the £8million signing of 22-year-old South African hitman Lyle Foster from KVC Westerlo on Wednesday afternoon.
And Burnley announced the deal with an incredible Shrek video.
The Turf Moor Club have produced a Hollywood parody for every signing since early January 2022, when a Jurassic Park parody was filmed for Wout Weghorst, now on loan at Manchester United.
