Reportedly, the regular version of chicken fries includes seasonings like salt, garlic and onion powder, paprika, and other spices — with the aim of giving the taste buds a little kick.

A flavor enhancer called monosodium glutamate (MSG) is also used.

The item is so popular with fans that Burger King has tried different variants over the years.

The latest two additions to the menu include the flavors Chicken Parmesan and Chicken Waffle Fries.

Although the prices were unclear, keep in mind that they can vary depending on the location.

However, according to a report by Chewboom, the two new variations of the chicken fries will only be available to customers in the Boston, Massachusetts area for a limited time only.

The Chicken Parmesan Fries are made with parmesan, garlic, and Italian herbs with a marinara dipping sauce on the side.

The other option consists of waffle batter and a side of syrup.

Both contain white meat.

The US Sun has reached out to Burger King for comment.

OTHER CHICKEN FRY VARIETIES

Over the years, Burger King has experimented with numerous other roast chicken flavors that are no longer on the menu.

These include the Buffalo, Jalapeno and Pretzel varieties.

But perhaps no other flavor has been more popular than the savory variety that launched earlier this year.

Fans have taken to social media to express their displeasure at the game being canceled.

One said: “I will never understand @BurgerKing. They’re launching spicy chicken fries. People love them and then a week later. Taken out of production. Why?”

A nine-piece order of standard chicken fries costs $6.79, according to Fast Food Menu Prices.
