Bruno Fernandes hits back at Gabby Agbonlahor along with Jurgen Klopp after talkSPORT pundit blasted Man Utd star

BRUNO FERNANDES is the Premier League’s latest big hitter to blow up Gabby Agbonlahor.

And now Red Devils star Fernandes has fired a warning shot after being singled out by Agbonlahor in a scathing assessment of United’s recent form.

Former Aston Villa striker Agbonlahor reckons Fernandes is not doing his part at Old Trafford.

And he questioned why the Portuguese ace wasn’t criticized like teammates Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford.

Agbonlahor said: “It’s easy to point fingers at Maguire, Ronaldo, Rashford, Sancho.

“For me, Fernandes… Ever since he arrived in the Premier League, yes he’s had great goals and assists but he looks like the worst team-mate.

“Whenever a player or himself loses the ball, he raises his arms towards his teammates and the bench.

“I’ve played with players like that, we’d be mad at him, with that pressure. If it was Pogba? He would be crucified in the press. But he gets away with it, he gets away with murder.

“Did you see him do anything? It’s easy to talk about Maguire, Ronaldo, Rashford, Sancho… I can’t remember the last time Fernandes played a decent game.

“Even if he gives you the ball, he blames you. That’s the player type, Bruno Fernandes. He’s the worst possible teammate.’

But Fernandes has now dismissed Agbonlahor’s comments as hearsay and claims he doesn’t care about the expert’s opinion.

Instead, Fernandes prefers to hear the thoughts of his respected peers, such as former team-mate Juan Mata.

Fernandes fired back: “It’s honestly nothing that worries me too much. He’s never played with me, he doesn’t know how I’m doing.

“Just yesterday I told my wife, who spoke to me in that interview, and I said, ‘You know what calms me down?’

“It’s just that two days ago a person named Juan Mata, world champion, European champion, winner of champions, all in England, said to me: ‘You were the best people I’ve met in football, keep it up, be yourself, with that honesty, that ability to work”.

“If anyone says that…you know how I am. Boring because I demand it, but because I demand it of myself and I demand it of others too.”
