Bruno Fernandes apologizes to Man Utd fans after hammering Liverpool and reveals dressing room conversations

Mohamed Salah scored with a brace on Tuesday night, while Luis Diaz and Sadio Mane were also on the scoresheet.
Legendary former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson looked heartbroken in the stands as he watched helplessly.
Speaking about a comment for Sky Sports, Gary Neville was furious with United as he called the squad a “waste of space”.
And his ex-teammate Roy Keane threw himself at the club as he explained the team was without a leader, heart, soul and quality.
After the game, Fernandes couldn’t hide his shame as he insisted United fans deserve better from the players.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Fernandes said: “Obviously it’s a bad result again. I can’t say much more.
“I think apologize to the fans it will never be enough but obviously there is nothing we can do now.
“The fans don’t deserve us playing like this. You deserve more from us.

“The way they support us to the end, the way they stay to applaud us after the result, they deserve a lot more from us.
“We have to raise our level higher. It is what it is.”
When asked if his teammates’ effort was there, he remarked, “I think everyone’s running. I think there is an effort from everyone. I don’t think anyone doesn’t give 100 percent.
“We have to do it for ourselves, the clubs, the fans and everyone.
“We have to say things, but that is kept in the dressing room. It’s over now, we have to think about the next game.”
He continued: “Liverpool are fighting for the title. We’re not fighting in vain at the moment. You can see the difference in the dots.
“I don’t have to be here and talk about the difference in level.”
Fernandes was then pressured as to why United are so far behind Liverpool despite finishing above them last season.
He explained: “We have to look at ourselves from top to bottom and understand what’s wrong.
“We fight to the end and we have to fight. If someone doesn’t want to compete, they have to stay out.
“No one can put their head down and think it’s over. We all have to understand that there is something to fight for, at least for the badge.”
Interim gaffer Ralf Rangnick then took it upon his “embarrassing, humiliating” squad, who mustered just two shots throughout the game.
