Broward County expands several test sites, adds a new site – CBS Miami

FORT LAUDERDALE (CBSMiami) – Broward County is expanding COVID-19 testing.
At Markham Park, beginning Thursday, December 30, capacity at the test site, 16001 W. State Road 84 in Sunrise, will be expanded with additional test tents. The site is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., but it will be closed Friday and Saturday, December 31 to January 1, in observance of the New Year.

The test sites at CB Smith Park in Pembroke Pines and Mills Pond Park in Fort Lauderdale have been expanded with additional test tents over the past few weeks to accommodate an increase in demand. The CB Smith Park test site is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 3pm. Mills Pond Park test site is open Sunday through Thursday from 8am to 4pm

A new pilot collection site will open Monday, January 3 at Mullins Park, 10000 Ben Geiger Drive in Coral Springs. During the first week, the site will be open Monday through Thursday, January 3 to January 6, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. After that, the site will be open every week from Sunday to Thursday, 8 am to 4 pm.
The Department of Health-Broward operates 10 collection sites in the county. Hours and days of operation are posted here and is constantly updated.

Site 11 is located at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and is open to those who can provide proof of travel plans to or from any airline’s airport. The airport location is operated by Nomi Health and Spirit Airlines, in partnership with the Broward County Aviation Department.
