Britney Spears’ secret comeback as a failed marriage and troubled relationship with her father inspire new songs

Rumors that Britney Spears is planning a musical comeback seem spot on as details are slowly emerging about what exactly the pop icon might have in store.
An unnamed Las Vegas worker has confirmed that the troubled superstar has been quietly writing lyrics for the past three years while struggling to emerge from the conservatory institution that has ruled her life and, more recently, witnessed how her marriage to actor Sam Asghari fell apart.
I’m told Sony Music is interested in her returning to the studio and has already offered her a million-dollar advance and suggested another greatest hits album – which could potentially include new tracks.
My source said: “Britney has been writing down lyrics and thoughts about the struggles of the past three years.
“First it was about breaking free from the conservatory role and now it’s about Sam and their breakup.
“Sony spent two years talking to her about making a new record in her new phase of life.
“It’s given her access to major writers and producers and a catalog of songs guaranteed to get her #1 whenever she wants it.
“She says it will happen soon. So there is definitely new music coming.
“And there’s also talk of the fact that she could get a nice £4million upfront payment just to step back in and record vocals.
“A greatest hits package is an option for Sony, but that could also include new material.
“Discussions continue, but Sony recognizes what a unique powerhouse she is and how her appeal will lead to big sales.”
Britney’s most recent album was her ninth album, 2019’s Glory, which peaked at number two here.
Although I know that Britney’s fans are desperately waiting for a new album, I can’t imagine that the album will see the light of day before 2024 at the earliest.
It starts with Tom
THE countdown to next summer is already on and Tom Grennan will be playing his biggest headlining show in the UK.
A good friend of Bizarre, he has announced a show at Gunnersbury Park in west London on August 10, 2024, backed by indie band Blossoms.
Ticket sales begin at 9 a.m. on Friday.
Tom, who has had big hits like “Remind Me,” “All These Nights,” and “Little Bit Of Love,” said, “Put on your dancing shoes and let’s make this show the party of the summer.”
Taylor’s movie date fears
TAYLOR SWIFT rocks the music world every time it announces a new album.
Countless artists have changed release dates to avoid chart battles with the music icon.
With the surprise announcement of the theatrical documentary, Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, Taylor’s power has now extended to the world of film.
Both Meg Ryan’s return to romantic comedy and Hilary Swank’s new drama have changed their release dates at the last minute to avoid clashing with the singer’s film, which hits the US on October 13.
Meg’s What Happens Later has since been pushed back to November 3, while Hilary’s Ordinary Angel has confirmed a new release date is in the works.
While a UK release date for Taylor’s concert film has not yet been confirmed, US pre-sale numbers have already shattered records.
Swifties have broken the previous Spider-Man: No Way Home pre-sale record.
Isn’t there anything Taylor can’t do?
Iggy Az is planning a UK tour
IGGY AZALEA has announced their first UK shows in over five years.
The Work rapper announced she will be focusing on the UK and Europe in 2024 after fans asked when they will see her here.
She tweeted, “I actually plan to devote a lot of time and energy to these markets over the next year.” I used to hate traveling when I was younger but really enjoy it now.”
She added that her forthcoming photo book, packed with adult images, is 80 percent complete.
The Australian had said of her plans for the hardcover: “I’m doing an illustrated book.
“That’s why I started my OnlyFans page. It features uncensored images selected from the book, which is due out in December. It’s called Hotter Than Hell.”
ZEN IS A BIG STAR IN A SMALL BRA
ZENDAYA is the biggest braggart as she celebrates her 27th birthday.
The Dune actress turned heads in this daring pink dress and an even bolder bra.
The tiny silver lingerie could possibly win the award for the world’s smallest bra.
Reflecting on her big day, Zendaya said, “Every year I get older I’m reminded of how precious this life is. Thank you all for helping me fill it with so much love.”
“Your kind words and constant support mean everything to me.”
“Thank you and to 27.”
In stark contrast to her uber-glamorous snap, Zendaya celebrated her actual big day wearing a snorkel and fins.
She went scuba diving with her boyfriend and Spider-Man actor Tom Holland.
As proof that despite their A-list lifestyle, they don’t take themselves too seriously, the British heartthrob shared this snap online for his fans.
MADISON BEER won’t name her fanbase because she says it “gives me goosebumps.”
The US singer, whose second album Silence Between Songs is out on September 15, said it was worthy of giving fans names like Beyonce’s Beyhive, Little Mixes Mixers and Justin Bieber’s Beliebers.
Speaking at a question and answer session in London, she said: “Beer cans are fine.
“But I can’t – it gives me goosebumps like I can’t. Not the name, just the naming of a fan base in general.”
OLIVIA’S GOOD STYLE
It’s a big week for Olivia Rodrigo but she has vowed it will all be in all white.
The Bad Idea Right singer showed off her slim figure in this angelic, skimpy two-piece ahead of the release of her second album, Guts, on Friday.
She completed her look with a striking black beret and matching jacket.
The album, her first since 2021’s “Sour,” has already spawned a #1 with lead single “Vampire.”
The wild track, in which Olivia unleashes a mysterious former flame, marks her third time at the top of the singles chart.
Drivers License and Good 4 U – taken from their debut album – hit #1 when they released two years ago.
She’ll no doubt have high hopes for where this new record hits the charts.
Bangerz…but no money from Miley’s world tour
MILEY CYRUS has revealed she didn’t make a dime from her 2014 Weird and Wonderful Bangerz World Tour.
However, the tour and accompanying Bangerz album helped her shed her squeaky-clean Disney-Hannah Montana past and elevate her into a full-fledged pop icon.
Looking back on the global journey, the Used To Be Young singer said: “It’s been an investment in myself.
“Many of these ideas were so outlandish that no one wanted to help me make these items.
“I had big dolls and oversized beds and got on stage by sliding (a giant model) down my own tongue.
“I didn’t make a dime on this tour because I wanted the tour to be recognized and when everyone kept saying, ‘Why are you doing this?’ You’re going to do about a hundred shows and not make any money?’
“I said there’s nobody I’d rather invest in than myself.”
“I paid everything to make it exactly what I and the fans deserved.”
However, her faith paid off as today she is one of the most successful pop stars in the world with a net worth of £130million.
The trek nine years ago was the last time Miley actually went on a full world tour.
She recently admitted that she hates life on the road and won’t be returning to globe-hopping anytime soon.
Miley said: “I just don’t want to sleep on a moving bus.

“Right now it’s not the best for me.”
However, she teased, “If you’ve followed my career, you know I’m always changing — and the way I think about it might change, too.”
