BRITNEY Spears has announced that she is “now” writing a memoir.
She revealed the first details of her all-rounder and continued to do so on Instagram as she described her past conservatorship as a “cult.”
Britney, 40, shared a now-deleted Instagram post in which she continues to talk about experiences she has announced will become a memoir.
“Why express NOW???” It started on April 4th. “Well I’m writing a book right now and since it’s actually healing and therapeutic…”
“It’s also hard to bring up past events in my life… I’ve never been able to express myself openly.
I can only imagine sounding childish, but I was extremely young when these events took place.”
She went on to slam ex Justin Timberlake in a scathing shout:
“But instead of using my heart, I use the intellectual approach as Justin [Timberlake] did when he apologized to Janet [Jackson] and me.
Although he was never bullied or threatened by his family, he took the opportunity to apologize 20 years later!!! Timing is everything!!!”
In February 2021, Justin, 41, responded to the backlash he received shortly after the release of bombastic documentary Framing Britney Spears.
Per US Weekly, he explained that decades after his breakup with Britney, which she previously posted, he was “deeply sorry” that he “USED her for fame.”
Britney then focused on her family in her new lengthy post.
“My mom and sister also took the ‘intellectual approach’ out of indulgence by writing their own books since I couldn’t even get a cup of coffee or drive my car or really anything,” she continued, referencing hers 13 years as a caregiver from which she was released last year.
“I’m not the type to bring up UNCOMFORTABLE CONVERSATIONS because it’s just NO RESPECT
… but come on, LET’S ACTUALLY TALK ABOUT IT!!!”
“IT FELT LIKE A CULT”
Britney then slammed her former conservator and father Jamie Spears, writing it “felt like a CULT” and accused him of banning her from entering a destination after “driving for an hour” during COVID.
“I’ve never felt like nothing in my life,” she wrote amid “hundreds of kids and adults walking in.”
She also forced her to work in Las Vegas even when her friends came to visit.
“I wasn’t allowed to go to the spa, so I sat outside and waited,” she added somberly, adding that her friends “didn’t even look my way or acknowledge me or worry.”
“I’m so sorry if I offended anyone by writing these stories…but since my sister is legally allowed to mention my name over 200 times in her book…I also have the right to share a few paragraphs on my Instagram.” ‘ she concluded.
Britney’s fiancé Sam Asghari commented, “I’ll buy the first copy.”
BRITNEY’S BOMB BOOK
According to Page Six, Britney’s book is no joke.
They reported that “the deal is said to be worth up to $15 million and Simon & Schuster secured the deal after a multi-publisher bidding war.”
An insider told the outlet, “The deal is one of the biggest ever, behind the Obamas.”
Meanwhile, sister Jamie Lynn Spears released her all-encompassing memoir Things I Should’ve Had Said this year.
After Britney was expelled from her conservatory last year, Jamie Lynn unceremoniously turned against her, saying her behavior when she was younger was “erratic” and “spiraling,” complete with a corroborating story about the pop superstar “who locked her in a room with a knife. “
Her mother Lynne published Through The Storm: A Real Story of Fame and Family In a Boulevard World in 2008, which shed light on Britney’s struggles with the paparazzi and her mental health.
The Grammy winner has previously called out her family for not supporting her or trying to get her out of her conservatorship.
Britney previously wrote of her sister on Instagram: “Congratulations bestseller….. The nerves of you selling a book now and talking about your fucking king lying…..
I wish you would take a lie detector test so all these masses of people will see you lie about me through your teeth!!!! …You’re scum, Jamie Lynn.”
Britney’s attorney, Mathew Rosengart, previously issued a cease and desist order to the sister, per Page Six, claiming that Britney was “no longer bullied” by her family.
In January, Britney posted an Instagram photo of a typewriter surrounded by roses that she could potentially tease, writing, “Should I start from scratch???”
She is also said to be working on new music for the first time in six years, The Sun previously revealed.
