Britney Spears appears to unfollow younger sister Jamie Lynn on Instagram – NBC10 Philadelphia


After going public last year, Britney Spears seems to have decided to cut her sister Jamie Lynn Spears on social media.

To kick off the new year, the 40-year-old singer appears to have unfollowed her sister on Instagram although we don’t know the exact timing of the action. The Pop Crave Twitter account originally shared the news in a tweet on Saturday, January 1.

The former “Zoey 101” star still follows her sister on social media.

It seems that the “Gimme More” singer recently unfollowed several accounts besides her sister.

She’s a strong, strong, unstoppable woman, and that’s the only thing that is INCREDIBLE. ”

However, a year later, the pop . icon openly speaking out against her family including sister and father, Jamie Spears, frankly Instagram post. In the caption, she criticizes her “support system” and discusses how conservatorship affects her life and career.

In the post, she talked about a moment during the 2017 Radio Disney Music Awards, in part writing: “I don’t like my sister showing up at an awards ceremony and performing MY SONG to remix. !!!!! My so-called support system hurt me deeply!!!! ”

Months later in October, Spears seemed to have cast shade on her sister’s upcoming book titled “Things I Should Say” in the caption of one of hers Instagram posts.

“Pssssss is also great news… I am thinking of releasing a book next year but I am having issues with the book titles so maybe my fans can help!!!!” she writes. “Choice 1… ‘Wow, I really don’t know’ Option 2… ‘I really care what people think’!!!!!” What do you think of ????”

Less than a month before ending her management role, Spears criticized her family Instagram again, expressing that she was “Tired” of being “older” in a now-deleted comment.

“This message is for my family…for hurting me deeper than you will ever know!!!” she writes. “I know conservatorship is coming to an end but I still want justice!!! I’m only 5’4” and I’ve been playing the bigger guy all my life… you know how hard that is???”
