After entering the room with her, the suspect allegedly forced her to have sex with him.

The 47-year-old suspect from Lindos was arrested a few hours later and brought before the Rhodes prosecutor’s office, Greek media outlet Rodiaki reported.

This comes after another tourist was reportedly raped on a Rhodes beach last week by a man who had spiked her with alcohol.

The 20-year-old Irish woman went out with her buddies in Faliraki that evening, local media reported.

Last month, a third holidaymaker was reportedly raped at sea by a man she met online while on a summer holiday in Greece.

The 20-year-old woman told police an Albanian man raped her after she went swimming at Glystra beach on the east coast of Rhodes island.
