Britain gets HOTTER than Greece as Met Office predicts glorious 16C Easter weekend scorcher

RNLI and Met Office give clear advice on cold water shock over the Easter holidays
With the Easter holidays around the corner, many people will be flocking to the beaches and swimming in the sea.
But weather forecaster Alex Deakin has issued a stark warning to those planning to do so in a video on the Met Office’s Twitter account.
He said: “The sea takes much longer to warm up than the land and the sea is always quite cool, especially in March and April when the temperature is at its lowest.”
In the same video, RNLI Lifeguard Henry Irvine agreed with Mr Deakin, telling anyone suffering from cold water shock: “Relax, don’t panic and let yourself float on your back.”
