“Brian Walshe pleaded not guilty to his arraignment in Quincy Circuit Court in January,” said Norfolk District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey.

“This indictment moves the case to Norfolk Superior Court, where he will be tried again in the coming weeks. That date has not yet been set.”

Ana Walshe, 39, was reportedly last seen early on New Year’s Day at her home in Cohasset, Massachusetts.

The mother-of-three was scheduled to get a ride to Boston Logan Airport and then fly to Washington, DC for work, but she never got on the plane.

Brian Walshe reportedly filed a missing persons report on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 after saying he could not reach her.

However, he was arrested on January 8 for misleading the police.

Investigators say he used his son’s iPad to perform more than a dozen chilling Google searches – some even appeared to have been made before Ana disappeared.

On Dec. 27, Brian Walshe googled, “What is the best state of affairs in which to divorce for a man?” According to Fox News, Commonwealth Attorney Lynn Beland told the court.

This Google search is said to have been the first of many.

“Instead of getting a divorce, Brian Walshe is believed to have dismembered Ana Walshe and discarded her body,” she added.

Minutes later, according to prosecutors, he continued to research the Internet in connection with the handling of a decomposing corpse.

He even researched “Ten Ways to … Dispose of a Corpse If You Really Must” before examining how long a person must be missing “to inherit.”
