Brazil are hoping for a huge boost for the 2022 World Cup as they release a clip of star Neymar back to gym work after suffering an ankle injury

BRAZIL are hoping to get their talisman Neymar back in action as soon as possible and release a morale-boosting clip of him in training for samba fans.
Neymar tore ligaments in his ankle in the opening game against Serbia.

And with fears growing that he might actually be sidelined for the remainder of the World Cup, Brazil released a video of him training to allay those fears.
The video shows Neymar, 30, at the gym doing exercises on the ball while loading his ankle and doing muscle work.
He can also be seen later in the video doing some jumping exercises as he continues his recovery.
The post itself is captioned: “Neymar Jr is working hard alongside the national team’s fitness coaches to get back to training with the group as soon as possible and to be available to coach Tite.
“Today he worked out at the gym! Let’s go Ney!
“Danilo and Alex Sandro also did individual work.”
Having already qualified, Brazil need not risk some of their old stars against Cameroon, but head coach Tite is keen for Neymar to return in time for the knockout rounds.
Brazil’s medical department believe they can get him fit in time for the last 16.

With Danilo absent at right-back, Dani Alves has joined the team to face Cameroon.
The 39-year-old wears the captain’s armband and is his country’s oldest player at a World Cup. He broke a record set by Thiago Silva earlier this week.
