Brashear high school student charged in fight that sent teen to hospital – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A Brashear High School student is facing an assault charge that left a teenager hospitalized.

Quincey Garland, eighteen, is facing aggravated assault charge in connection with a riot that was captured on video Friday that showed a student throwing the victim to the ground and stomping repeatedly. head.

The victim was beaten unconscious and taken to the hospital. His mother told KDKA that he had a concussion and had to wear a back brace.

The district said in a statement Friday, the students involved will face possible disciplinary action and fees.

A spokeswoman said Pittsburgh Public Schools police handled the investigation.
