Brashear High School Principal Takes Administrative Leave After Hallway Argument – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – The principal of Brashear High School has been placed on administrative leave following an incident of student violence last week that resulted in a student being hospitalized.

A spokesperson for the Pittsburgh Public Schools said the “principal is” taking undisciplined administrative leave pending the District’s review of last Friday’s incident.

The disruptive war was captured on video last Friday showing a student throwing the 17-year-old victim to the ground and stomping repeatedly on the head. The alleged attacker is facing aggravated assault charge.

Video of the incident on a mobile phone shows another student lying on the ground with his head locked by the teacher.
Pittsburgh Public Schools police are investigating the incident.
