Bournemouth’s Nicolas Jackson transfer collapses at the last minute after the Villarreal striker’s medical failure

BOURNEMOUTH’s proposed transfer of Villarreal ace Nicolas Jackson has reportedly collapsed at the last minute after the striker failed medical treatment.
The Cherries hope to increase their chances of survival by diving into the transfer market following Bill Foley’s takeover.

Manager Gary O’Neil has already been backed with £28.7million in players.
Lorient winger Dango Ouattara, 20, joined in a £19.7million transfer.
Bristol City ace Antoine Semenyo followed on Friday, with the World Cup star from Ghana costing just under £10m.
And goalkeeper Darren Randolph joined the South Coast Club from West Ham on a free transfer.
Villarreal star Jackson should be the next attacking reinforcement yet the 21-year-old has failed a medical test, according to the transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
Jackson failed a medical exam after doctors determined he was in hospital until April 10 with a hamstring injury.
That leaves the player with just 12 games to help Bournemouth retain their Premier League spot.
The Cherries currently sit 18th, and should they finish there or below, they will fall into the championship.

However, a win or two could see Bournemouth overtake relegation rivals Wolves, West Ham, Leeds or Leicester.
Bournemouth’s next league game is at Brighton on February 4th.
