ARGENTINA international Marcos Senesi is set to join Bournemouth for £12.6million.
The Cherries are locked in talks with Feyenoord over the 25-year-old defender, who is in the last year of his contract.
Senesi made his debut in Argentina in June.
And he will become Bournemouth’s fourth summer signing after they landed Barcelona keeper Neto on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old joins new signings Joe Rothwell, Ryan Fredericks and Marcus Tavernier.
Chief Executive Neill Blake said: “It’s very gratifying to be able to attract a player of Neto’s caliber.
“It’s a real coup for the club and we’re delighted they’ve chosen us.
“He has tremendous experience at the highest level of football so I’m sure he will be a great asset to us.”
Neto started his career at Brazilian first division club Paranaense before playing for Fiorentina, Juventus, Valencia and Barcelona.
He also has a cap for Brazil.
