Giannis Antetokounmpo and company will now travel to Boston’s TD Garden live from 8:15pm Sunday night on Sky Sports’ YouTube channel to keep their championship defense alive in a crucial eliminator.

The Greek freak could hardly have done more to try and guide his side to victory in game six, dropping a mammoth 44 points, 20 rebounds and six assists in 41 minutes.

But when Mike Budenholzer’s men, minus the injured All-Star Khris Middleton, threatened a comeback in the fourth quarter and eventually reduced the deficit to just four points, Tatum took control of the proceedings.

The 24-year-old picked up an incredible 46 points en route to victory – 16 of them in a commanding performance in the fourth quarter.

After the game, the Duke graduate said, “It means everything.

β€œThe best atmosphere in the NBA. Game 7s are the biggest and best games. I’m really looking forward to it.

“Basketball’s greatest moments, the greatest stage. It boils down to going out now and just having fun.”

Tatum was assisted by 22 points from pal Jaylen Brown as well as 21 points from Marcus Smart, who was recently named Defensive Player of the Year.

Giannis, meanwhile, was disappointed with his supporting cast – with Jrue Holiday scoring just 17 points and Pat Connaughton the Bucks, the next top scorer, with 14.

Commenting on Tatum’s outstanding performance, Smart said, “That’s why he gets big bucks for moments like this.

“I kept telling him the whole game, ‘Just be you, man.’ He was.”

The number 1 Miami Heat is waiting for the winner.

Erik Spoelstra’s side enjoyed the weekend off after beating Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers in six games earlier this week.
