BORIS Johnson responded to a questionnaire from the Metropolitan Police about Downing Street gatherings during coronavirus restrictions.
A spokesman for Number 10 confirms that the prime minister is back document.
Mr Johnson has seven days to respond to the questionnaire sent to him last Friday.
The document, which has been sent out to everyone who is believed to have attended the alleged COVID-19 containment parties, asks for the recipient’s account and an explanation of their participation in an event.
Scotland Yard has declared the questionnaire to be officially legal and must be answered honestly.
The force has been in contact with more than 50 people believed to be involved in 12 events it is investigating as part of Operation Hillman.
