Bollywood star Alia Bhatt leaves the internet confused about ‘weird’ way of applying lipstick

ALIA Bhatt may be used to sporting glamor on film sets for her starring roles, but her own makeup techniques have caused quite a stir online.
The Bollywood star, 30, has stunned her fans and social media users with her “weird” way of applying lipstick.
She shared her beauty secrets with Vogue, revealing her tips for a “glow from within” and “great skin.”
After working through her skincare routine and her love of ice water facials, she moved on to her holy grail makeup routine.
Alia looked incredible after showcasing her natural beauty with her favorite products in the behind-the-scenes clip.
To finish off the look, she then grabbed a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in the shade Pillow Talk to add a pop of color to her lips.

“I wore this to my wedding,” she told the camera. “I’m so obsessed with this color.”
But it was the actress’ application process that got people talking, rather than her favorite shade of lipstick.
Demonstrating her technique, Alia explained, “So I have this very weird way of applying my lipstick.”
“Most people put their lipstick to their mouths, I put my mouth to their lipsticks. So…”

She then lifted the lipstick to her mouth, moving her cheeks back and forth to make sure it spread across the surface.
But even more bizarre was Alia’s statement: “Then I’ll rub it off!”
She explained that her husband and Hindi film star Ranbir Kapoor prefers to wear a more muted tone on her lips.
Taking fans back to the beginning of their relationship, Alia said, “We used to go out and he would always say ‘wipe that off’ because he loves the natural color of my lips.”
Her supporters encouraged her to experiment with different lip colors regardless of her husband’s opinions.
The couple were married in April last year after a five-year relationship in a modest ceremony at their home in Mumbai.
They then welcomed their daughter, Raha Kapoor, in November 2022.
Alia landed her first role outside of Bollywood when she starred opposite Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the spy thriller Heart of Stone.
Director Tom Harper called her an “impressive talent” for her role as techie Keya in the new film.

The Mumbai-born beauty is also celebrating the success of another recent project, her starring role in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
She co-directed the romantic comedy with Ranveer Singh that eclipsed Barbie and Oppenheimer at the box office in India.
