Bob Saget Tribute’s Pete Davidson confirms what we all suspected together about comedian Edgy

Bob Saget has always been a popular comedian, but Pete Davidson’s recent tribute to him only further cements his status as a beloved icon.

It’s no secret that Davidson has had his fair share of mental health battles, and he’s been pretty open about it over the years (via Self). He starred in Judd Apatow’s “King of Staten Island,” it’s a semi-autobiographical play helped Davidson heal from his father’s death on 9/11. The “SNL” star recently wrote an emotional tribute to Saget through the writer Dave Sirus’ Instagram though, start by noting that “Bob Saget is one of the most beautiful men on the planet.”

During the tribute, Davidson revealed that Saget had helped him cope over the years, writing, “When I was young and many times throughout our friendship, he helped me through through some tough mental health issues.” Davidson also noted that Saget supported his mother during that time, adding, “He stayed on the phone with my mom for hours trying to help in any way he could – connecting us with doctor and new things we can try. He’ll check on me. and make sure I’m fine.”

The “SNL” star ended her heartfelt tribute by writing, “I love you, Bob, it’s been an honor to know you. Thank you for your kindness and friendship. My condolences. to family”. The post makes it clear that, in addition to making them laugh, Bob Saget really wants to help those in need in any way that he can.
