Black Panther Star Letitia Wright was hospitalized in August after an accident on the set of her new film, and Marvel has now said her injuries are “much more serious” than initially thought.

“What we initially thought were minor injuries turned out to be much more serious as Letitia suffered a severe shoulder fracture and concussion with serious side effects,” said Marvel Studios executive Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito and Nate Moore said. “It was a painful process and Letitia has been recovering at home with her doctors and the support of her family.”
