Letitia Wright is back on the set of Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever, after a month-long recovery from an injury during filming. This also comes after it was reported that misinformation she shared regarding the Covid-19 vaccine was jeopardizing her future with Disney, with her unvaccinated status making International travel became difficult for the actress.

The News Her return was authorized by a spokesperson for Wright, and marks her return to work after nearly five months of recuperation. Production was slowed down after Wright was injured in August 2021, in an accident allegedly involving a stunt rig.

The resulting injuries seemed minor at first but, according to a Marvel spokesperson, turned out to be more than that. Marvel stated: “What we initially thought were minor injuries but were much more serious when Letitia suffered a severe shoulder fracture and a concussion with serious side effects.” “It was a painful process and Letitia is recovering at home with her doctors and the support of her family.”

Since Wright lives in London and filming for Black Panther is taking place in the US, many speculates that her previous views on the Covid-19 vaccine will keep production going even further. While recovering, the US has updated its requirements for non-citizens entering the country, meaning all travelers will be required to have two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine (or one dose). Johnson & Johnson). Wright’s vaccination status is not known, but she was previously called out on social media for sharing a video from her YouTube channel that spread misinformation about vaccines, as well as emotions about the virus and sinophobic.

On top of that, Wright is said to have discussed his anti-vaccination sentiment on set. A more recent report went further, says that Wright is considering leaving the MCU altogether, as most products have a vaccine provision. In any case, Wright will at least get to see the Black Panther sequel through to the end, with filming set to resume next week.
