While much of the momentum I was expecting yesterday came into play this morning, the wind remained out of the Southwest direction.
This is causing temperatures to rise and our chances of snowfall today are VERY low.
Modeling data is now turning to my forecast for possible dry conditions for places south of I-80.
Temperatures will be mid to above 30 all day today with cloudy skies. Temperatures will plummet overnight as the skies clear with us back into the 20s on Friday morning with lows.

There will be light winds with wind chill values around 20 degrees for most of the morning. However, Friday’s high temperatures are predicted to reach 50 degrees!
Looking ahead, Friday will have a chance of rain in the evening, turning to a possibility of snow on Saturday.
Then we switch COLD.
How cold? Temperatures will be in single digits on Sunday and Monday mornings.
Valentine’s Day is likely to be the coldest day of the week with a high of just 21 and a morning low just above zero.
