BIRMINGHAM CITY have announced the sacking of EIGHT players but also awarded new contracts.
The Blues have decided to proceed with a summer selection after completing their championship campaign.
The departures also include Kristian Pedersen, who has been with Union Berlin since 2018 and has completed a total of 161 assignments.
However, Pedersen will be released at the end of his contract, which expires on June 30.
The same goes for Jeremie Bela, who is also set to become a free agent this month after three years with Birmingham.
Yoane Zohore, Renedi Masampu, Archie Matthews, Oriol Soldevila, Kane Thompson-Sommers and Connal Trueman will also leave.
However, the St. Andrews Chiefs have handed over new contracts to Josh Andrews, Odin Bailey and Ryan Stirk.
Tate Campbell and Adan George have also received new deals ahead of the summer transfer window.
Manchester United youngsters Tahith Chong and Teden Mengi spent the season on loan at Lee Bowyer’s side but have returned to Old Trafford.
The same goes for Onel Hernandez, Taylor Richards and Lyle Taylor, who returned to Norwich, Brighton and Nottingham Forest respectively
