Bill Simmons makes a huge mistake when he suggests bringing back the WWE legend who died in 2009

SPORTS media star Bill Simmons made a mistake when he suggested bringing back a WWE legend who died in 2009.
Simmons, the founder of sports and pop culture website The Ringer, made the mistake during a podcast interview with WWE President Nick Khan.
The interview took place on the same day WWE and UFC finalized their merger.
Simmons and Khan discussed the departure of the wrestling company’s former co-CEO Stephanie McMahon.
She left WWE in January after her father Vince McMahon returned to the company.
And during the podcast, Simmons suggested that WWE could bring back Stephanie’s former on-screen fiancé, Test.

“Couldn’t she come back and do an angle where she and Test are having an affair?” Simmons asked Khan.
However, Test, whose real name was Andrew Martin, died of an accidental drug overdose in 2009 at the age of 33.
Khan quickly replied to Simmons, “I think Test died a few years ago.”
This prompted Simmons to respond, “Oh no!”, before introducing a new idea: “Test brother or something.”
Before his death, Test was successful as an individual player, winning the Intercontinental Championship and the European Championship once each, and becoming Hardcore Champion twice.
He would have an on-screen relationship with Stephanie, which would lead to a Love her or Leave her match at SummerSlam.
Test defeated Shane McMahon at SummerSlam 1999.
This led to him receiving Shane’s blessing and eventually getting Stephanie and Test engaged on screen.
He also enjoyed success in the tag team division, becoming a two-time World Tag Team Champion with Booker T, winning the WWF and WCW World Tag Team Championships once each.
Test’s death was one of several surprising untimely deaths that occurred in the WWE industry in the 2000s.
