Big cat sightings have been reported by visitors to Snowdonia National Park

VISITORS to Snowdonia National Park have seen big cats and found giant paw prints.
Hiker Stephanie Robinson reported seeing a “brown or tan big cat” on Snowdon’s Pyg Track.

She said: “I heard a growl coming from a cave. I kept silent because I didn’t want to lure this wild animal in front of me.”
One feral camper said he heard squeaks at night and saw “golden eyes” reflected in his flashlight.
A third said they spotted a large black animal at Pen Braich, about 12 miles north.
She said, “I tried to approach it, but it disappeared into the forest.”
Another man discovered a footprint in an abandoned quarry.
He said: “It was bigger than my fist.”
The sightings were reported to Puma Watch North Wales.
