Biden slammed for saying ‘Iranians’ during State of the Union speech about Putin’s invasion of Ukraine in latest promotional photo

PRESIDENT Joe Biden stunned Tuesday night during his State of the Union address when he said Iranian when referring to Ukrainians.
The president was discussing Russia’s ongoing invasion of Ukraine when he missed the opportunity.
“Putin may surround Kyiv with tanks, but he will never capture the hearts and souls of the Iranian people,” Biden said.
The mistake was quickly mentioned on social media by journalists and political commentators.
“Did Biden say the Iranian people?” Fox News host Laura Ingraham wrote on Twitter.
Joe Biden just said Putin will never weaken the will of the Iranian people. He meant the Ukrainian people. Oh my god. ‘ said political commentator Clay Travis.
Meanwhile, others, such as journalist Josh Rogin, don’t want people to be distracted by mistakes. “Yes, Biden spoke Iranian when he met Ukrainians. Do not do that, ” he wrote.
Biden began his speech discussing the invasion that began just days ago, adding that Russian President Vladimir Putin had “miscalculated” the Ukrainian people.
“Six days ago, Vladimir Putin of Russia sought to shake the foundations of the free world thinking he could bend it in his threatening ways. But he miscalculated badly,” Biden said.
“He thought he could go to Ukraine and the world would turn around. Instead, he encounters a wall of power that he never anticipated or imagined. He met the Ukrainian people.
“Throughout our history, we’ve learned this lesson when dictators don’t pay for their aggression, they cause more chaos.”
