“Better than anyone on AEW” – WWE fans react as Logan Paul sets out to bring wrestling back to Raw after calling out The Miz

LOGAN PAUL is set to return to WWE just days after calling out former partner The Miz to a SummerSlam showdown.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer, 27, made his debut in the organization on SmackDown last April.

But the fireworks didn’t really fly until he teamed up with The Miz at Wrestlemania 38.

The pair proved to be a devastating duo, defeating Rey and Dominik Mysterio to conquer the W in style.

Still at the height of his debut match, Paul was caught off guard and quickly betrayed by his partner, who hit him in a skull-crushing finale.

Logan signed a multi-year deal with WWE in June and slammed The Miz, vowing revenge at SummerSlam.

Paul said: “Miz I don’t know what to tell you man.

“I’m not confused by what I said and I definitely won’t change my mind based on what The Miz said.

“I don’t want to be your partner. I don’t want anything to do with you.

“I said it when I signed my WWE contract and I’ll say it again now so you can read my lips: I’m coming for you, Miz, at SummerSlam. Roger that?”

Paul will now return to the ring on a Monday night edition of Raw on July 18.

The official WWE Twitter account revealed: “NEXT WEEK on Raw – Logan Paul returns!”

Fans were divided over the YouTuber’s participation, with some not thrilled with the social media sensation.

One WWE fan wrote, “I’ll be really interested to see if he gets booed or cheered on.”

While another added: “Logan actually gets a few cheers but Miz still owns him.”

But others were more than for WWE’s new star – and took on rival organization All Elite Wrestling.

One fan said, “Logan Paul owns the entire AEW list.”

And another explained: “This announcement just saved all the raw footage tonight.”

Logan’s return comes just days after it was reported that Tyson Fury is eyeing a return to WWE to face off against either Paul or Drew McIntyre.

WWE is now hoping to lure boxing champion Fury and internet sensation Paul into a duel on September 3rd.

Dave Meltzer said in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, “It was originally an idea to try to make McIntyre more mainstream and get him exposure outside of wrestling.

“Without McIntyre, the question would be who he would be [Fury] Face.

“It would be a risk as both don’t have much experience but given that Jake Paul and Tommy Fury [Tyson’s brother] linked for a fight lately, Logan Paul would have a storyline to go along with it.”
