The alleged incident happened around Jan. 21 in downtown Cincinnati, a local CBS affiliate says.
The warrant claims Mixon knowingly pointed a gun at a female victim.
According to the court document, the NFL running back also said, “You should be slammed in the face. I should shoot you now. The police can’t get me.”
The Bengals have addressed the incident in a statement which read: “The club is aware that misdemeanor charges have been filed against Joe Mixon.

“The club is investigating the situation and will not comment further at this time.”
This isn’t the first time Mixon has had trouble with the police.
While in college in Oklahoma, the former second-round pick was charged with assault after punching a student in the face in 2014.
Mixon’s punch broke four bones in the victim’s face.
He was ordered to seek counseling and do 100 hours of community service.
The Sooners suspended Mixon for the 2014 season following the incident.
