Ben Chan from Jeopardy! reveals which fan-favorite champion he plans to “hang out” with after losing the 9-day run

DANGER! Contestant Ben Chan has revealed which champion he wants to “hang out” with.
The philosophy professor at St. Norbert College set to work Twitter on Tuesday and admitted he wants to have a drink with Ray Lalonde.
Sharing an AI image of two men enjoying drinks outside in a backyard, Ben tweeted, “Up for grabs: Hanging out with Ray Lalonde on a sunny patio in Culver City during ToC.”
He continued, “But first, can I join Ray in the 10+ win Super Champion club? Tune in to @Jeopardy tonight and find out!”
“[Midjourney decided Ray needs two drinks]added Ben, referring to the AI image.
Danger! Fans were quick to respond to the tweet, with one person predicting, “I think you can get 10+ wins…you’re doing great! (sic).”

“Maybe Ray needs two drinks, one to toast your joining the 10+ Games Winner Club and one to share with you on the sunny patio,” commented another.
Ray is certainly a memorable contestant on the popular game show.
Earlier in the year, viewers watched as he lost a round after 13 wins and a total prize pool of $386,000.
He and the other two players were within $1,000 of each other before Final Jeopardy, all three correct, Ray only lost $456.

In fact, the TV set designer from Ontario, Canada won many of his episodes by a mere margin, making for great television.
Meanwhile danger! Fans were in disbelief this week as Ben lost in Tuesday’s episode via an unforgiving verdict that fans called heartbreaking, if not downright questionable.
Ben was ruled wrong for an otherwise compromised Final Jeopardy answer that was just a wrong letter.
Ben met Lynn Di Vito, a retired museum educator from Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Danny Leserman, a political communications manager from Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
Ben, who hails from Green Bay, Wisconsin, boasts being the first Jeopardy! With nine consecutive top wins, he is the best competitor of all time.
Having nine sure wins through Final Jeopardy is such a rare feat that fans didn’t expect him to go anywhere any time soon.
Ben returned last week after ditching his series after contracting Covid-19 in episodes that aired in April, which may also be why some fans were confused about seeing him again.
