Below Deck Mediterranean star Captain Sandy Yawn has gotten engaged to her girlfriend Leah Shafer.
Sandy and Leah had been together for five years before they decided to make the relationship permanent.

Sandy joined in E! about the proposal, saying, “Leah wanted the fairytale, and to me Leah represents elegance.”
“I had planned a boat trip to a beautiful bay. I had decorated it with flowers and created a path to a little table with three violinists where we could sit and have a little date.”
Even though she “couldn’t wait” to propose after thinking about the big moment for “years,” she was still nervous.
She continued, “I shared my vision list of love that I had written and wanted and then knelt.
“Then she said ‘Yes!’ The look on her face was priceless and my heart exploded!”
