PUB shooting victim Elle Edwards was hit twice in the back of the head and suffered “terminal” injuries, according to a jury.
dr Christopher Johnson said attempts to resuscitate her at the scene and in the hospital had failed.
The 26-year-old beautician was shot dead outside the lighthouse in Wallasey, Merseyside, last Christmas Eve.
Birkenhead resident Connor Chapman, 23, is said to have fired 12 bullets from a submachine gun at gang rivals.
He admits he was involved in setting fire to the stolen engine used in the attack.
But he says the Mercedes was borrowed from an employee on the night in question.
The court was told yesterday that the car had burned out on a road in Frodsham, Cheshire, near the M56 on New Year’s Eve.
Footage of the black Mercedes traveling in a convoy with another Mercedes vehicle on New Year’s Eve was shown to the Liverpool Crown Court jury yesterday.
Chapman denies murder. Thomas Waring, 20, also from Birkenhead, denies helping a perpetrator.
The process goes on.
