BCCI Chief Medical Officer resigns after 10 years for personal reasons

Medical Director Abhijeet Salvi of the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) has resigned due to personal reasons.

Salvi was with BCCI since 2012 but has now moved away to spend time with family, with work becoming much busier due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“I thank BCCI for giving me this opportunity. After 10 years working in the organization, I want to continue. It has become a 24×7 job during COVID and I want to spend time with myself and my family. “, said Salvi. by PTI news agency.

Salvi’s notice period is said to have ended on November 30, but he remains on board until the end of the Mid-Test series. India and New Zealand.

ESPNCricinfo reports that Charles Minz has been hired as the team’s doctor for the tour to South Africa. India is currently in South Africa to take three Tests and three ODIs.
