BARE-knuckle fighters and cage fighters are letting their feathers loose with professional knee fights.

Competitors battle each other for three rounds of 90 seconds, in which fighters fight each other using Pillow Fighting Championship-approved 2lb queen pillows.

Each “weapon” is stuffed with foam and wrapped in nylon sailcloth to prevent tearing.

Warriors are matched according to their relative size and level of experience.

Mixed martial arts veterans Markus Perez, 31 years old and Conor McGregorMarcus Brimage’s first UFC opponent, 36, is one of the favorites to win the $5,000 prize pool.

Steve Williams, the creator of the new sport, says it’s for everyone.

He has recruited dozens of MMA fighters, reality TV stars, boxers and ordinary men and women to participate.

“You don’t really have to explain sex to people – that’s the beauty,” he said.

“There was strong aggression, but no one was injured. A lot of people don’t want to see blood and violence anymore.”
