Despite their mega-debts, Barcelona’s members approved £1.3billion redevelopment plans for the Nou Camp last year, with renovations due to start this month.

They will then move to the nearby 60,000-seat Olympic Stadium in Catalonia for the 2023-2024 season.

The Catalan giants are set to return to their 99,354-seat stadium for the 2024-2025 season, albeit with a 50 per cent reduced capacity.
