BARCELONA have been accused of censoring footage of a youth team player copying Cristiano Ronaldo’s iconic ‘Siu’ celebration.
The LaLiga giants have posted a video of 18-year-old Fermin Lopez scoring a miracle goal – but not showing his celebration.
The Barcelona U19 star scored a stunning overhead kick before running to the corner and echoing Real Madrid legend Ronaldo’s celebration.
But Barcelona couldn’t seem to bring themselves to show the moment and edited out the moment in full in a clip posted to their Instagram page.
The edited clip then continues with Lopez high-fiving his teammates.
However, full-length footage from Barca TV’s live coverage of the game shows Lopez channeling his inner Ronaldo.
The youngster flew to the corner flag, jumped and spun in the air screaming – just like Manchester United star Ronaldo.
However, Barca wisely decided to remove that part when the goal was reposted on their social media channels.
They couldn’t bear to post a celebration related to one of their biggest rivals on their own pages.
Ronaldo and Barca have a long history together as they have met 34 times in total, mainly during CR7’s nine-year tenure at Real Madrid.

The 37-year-old has scored an impressive 20 goals in 34 games against the La Liga giants in his career so far.
Ronaldo first performed the “Siu” celebration against Chelsea in its current form during a pre-season friendly in 2013.
The celebration has become iconic with fans around the world and was even copied by Cambridge United players after they knocked Newcastle out of the FA Cup earlier this season.
