“An officer just confirmed that they’re working on a ‘crime scene,’ and ‘people are injured,'” Gilmore said wrote.

Gilmore added that first responders got the woman, who was sitting on the floor, into a chair.

He clarified that the parade came to a halt as police officers began patrolling the scene.

Video footage posted to his account shows officers clearing the area along the downtown parade route.

“Witnesses in the area report hearing what sounded like gunshots and then saw crowds of people running from the area,” he added to the thread.
