Australia’s Annabel Sutherland wants to host more Women’s Test matches.

Australian female cricketer Annabel Sutherland still want to play cricket longer, saying it will help them get used to its nature. Sutherland, who was Australia near winning the Ashes test recently, loves bowling under pressure.

Australia and England offered a show of entertainment during the Alone Ashes Test in Canberra. The home team claimed on the last day, let the opponent score 257 to win from 48 rounds. The visitors won, however, and Australia bounced back before the Test ended in a draw, with England stopping at 245-9.

Sutherland reflected on the Test and the ability to see all three outcomes happening right up until the grand finale was over. She says wearing Baggy Green is something of pride for them and has called for more red ball cricket.

The 20 year old guy said (like quote by Watoday):

“I think that should happen. When you go into a Test match where in that final session on Wednesday you can have any outcome happen, that’s pretty exciting. We like it. play Test cricket and we want to play more, I think. Just from a playing point of view, the more we play, the more we get used to that, the nature of Test cricket.”

She added:

“We just love being able to put on baggy greens, so it would be nice to be able to play more.”

Sutherland was exceptionally good at bowling in both innings, winning five unders on the test. The 20-year-old played a key role in getting Australia back into the game in the second half. She quickly eliminated Natalie Sciver, Amy Ellen Jones, and Katherine Brunt on the final day.

“I always want to take a chance when it’s thrown at me” – Annabel Sutherland

She added that she loves it when captain Meg Lanning throws the ball at her in difficult situations because she remains confident in catching the ball. The young man added:

“I always want to take a chance when it’s thrown at me and the nature of this Australian team is that it doesn’t happen often because we have the depth. So just being able to take that role, take it. the ball when Meg threw it at me and did her job, I feel like I’ve been ready to do that for about last year and I’m sure I’ll have a lot of confidence from the role that I can take on.”

The Ashes series will transition to a three-match-a-day international series, starting on February 3.
