ATM stolen in Connecticut: Police hunt for thief in robbery chain

Footage shows two men entering a store in Old Saybrook, wrapping a cable around an ATM and then tearing it out of the store.
The whole thing happened in just a few seconds.
Police say the thieves are clearly experienced.

“The teamwork they use is amazing. They wind it up, throw it in the back of the stolen rangefinder and they’re out in a little over a minute,” said Captain Old Saybrook police officer Jeffrey Deperry said.
Police believe the thieves are behind a string of robberies across the state.
A week ago, the SUV was stolen from a car dealership in East Windsor.
