SEVERAL people were shot dead in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday night.

The Atlanta Police Department confirmed people were injured by gunfire at Rosa L. Burney Park, according to WXIA-TV.

Authorities said there were two shootings, both of which are linked.

Police said the second shooting took place at 500 Whitehall Terrace SW, which is less than half a mile away.

The second shooting also took place outside Dunbar Elementary School.

The number of injured was not disclosed.

And it’s not known if the police have a suspect.

The Sun contacted the Atlanta Police Department for information but received no immediate response.
