DRAMATIC footage shows the moment an angry flight attendant lunges at a rude passenger after he allegedly made her colleagues cry over a meal request.

The stewardess was captured when she burst out screaming “I’m not your maid” on a flight from Istanbul to New Delhi.

The stewardess stood up and yelled “I’m not a servant” during the heated argument.

In a clip shared on Twitter, the woman explained why the passenger’s request could not be completed onboard the IndiGo service before shouting broke out.

“Stop pointing and yelling at me, my crew is crying because of you,” the unnamed airline worker was heard saying.

“You can’t talk to the crew like that,” she added as a second crew member joined her.

“Please try to understand,” the latter added, as they explained, “there is a trolley and meal counts are raised [on the plane].”

“Why are you screaming?” The rude passenger fired back.

“I’m so sorry sir, but you can’t talk to the crew like that. I literally listen to you with all respect, but you also have to respect the crew,” the woman replied.

The passenger then told her to “shut up,” while the flight attendant replies, “shut up!”

“I am an employee. I’m not your servant,” she yelled angrily before walking away from the confrontation.

According to local broadcaster NTDV, the fiasco broke out after the passenger asked for a sandwich and was told by the crew that they had to make sure one was available.

It’s unclear if the issue has been resolved.

In a statement by Indian journalist Tarun Shukla, a company spokesman said: “We are aware of the incident that occurred on December 16, 2022 on flight 6E 12 from Istanbul to Delhi.

“The issue related to meals chosen by certain passengers traveling on a codeshare connection.

“IndiGo understands the needs of its customers and it is our constant endeavor to provide our customers with a courteous and hassle-free experience.

“We are investigating the incident and would like to assure that customer comfort has always been our top priority.”
