At least two injured in shooting north of Perry – CBS Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Multiple people were injured after a barrage of bullets flew during a late-night shooting in a Pittsburgh neighborhood.
Currently, a man is in hospital in serious condition after being shot in the back. While another is also recovering from being shot in the leg.
As of early Friday morning, it was not clear what had led to the violence.
It was just before 11 p.m. Thursday night when Pittsburgh Police were notified of a shooting along Woods Run Avenue in the city’s Perry North neighborhood.
When officers arrived in the area, they discovered two people had been shot.
The first time was in a house on the Woods track. They discovered a man hit in the back.
The nurses present quickly took him to the hospital. He is still in serious condition.
Then, along the intersection of Woods Run and Maridale, officers found a second victim. They were shot in the leg.
Police applied the tourniquet before the person was taken to the hospital.
Public Safety officials told KDKA that a K-9 at the scene was also injured in the incident, but is expected to be okay.
Police detained three people at the scene. Still no word on if any of them will be charged.
According to Public Safety, the incident appeared to be a dispute between neighbors, but the whole incident is still under investigation.
