Police are responding to reports that a mass shooting broke out during crowded Memorial Day celebrations in Hollywood Beach, Florida.

Frightened onlookers could be seen in live camera footage from The US Sun.
From multiple angles, people can be seen running from apparent gunfire on the busy promenade and surrounding beach.
Horrified onlookers shared videos of the chaotic scene on social media, which appeared to show a victim being treated while lying motionless on the sand.
Officials have closed at least one road and set up a large perimeter fence while they work to investigate the scene, local reporters said.
Police are urging people to stay away from Hollywood Beach, particularly the area between Johnson and Garfield Streets.
It is unclear whether or not the reported shooting is an active event.
Hollywood Beach Police told The US Sun that they were unable to provide any updated information while they are investigating the situation.
