At least 9 children out of 19 died in hell at 333 East 181st Street and dozens more were injured

A BRONX apartment fire killed at least 19 people, including 9 children.

The fire begins just before 11 a.m. on January 9, 2022, at 333 E 181 St.

33 victims were reported as transport to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The most commonly reported injury to victims by far was severe smoke inhalation.

According to the FDNY, the fire started in an apartment on the third floor.

The fire has been described as the deadliest apartment fire in 30 years.
