Fashion World opened Fashion Week London for the second time and was there inspired by its first premiere in the West End, New York City.
Celebrities from the fashion world were in attendance, including newly crowned model Ashley Graham, who was named “Sexiest Woman in the World” by Maxim Magazine.
Graham was named the World’s Sexiest Woman this year by Maxim magazine’s annual Hot 100 issue, which celebrates the 100 most attractive and influential women in the world.
The plus-size model and “Queen of Curves” won over Paige Spiranac with the award, which was seen by many as a major step forward for the body positivity movement.
On Thursday, Graham was seen at the Vogue event and afterparty in a symmetrical strapless white mini dress.
Featuring a lace-up corset-style bodice, the skirt billows at her waist and accentuates her hourglass figure.
Unique in its composition, the corset strings start at the hem of the skirt and run to the back of the dress, cheekily showcasing Graham’s physical condition.
Because the laces hung loosely behind the model, they created a short, false trailing effect that dragged her behind her as she walked.
Graham forwent a handbag that evening and made her asides elsewhere.
When it came to her choice of footwear, she opted for contrast and strutted in red sandal-style stilettos with a tapered heel.
Graham opted for simple and subtle natural makeup with a touch of blue eyeshadow and hair slicked back in a low bun that highlighted her natural beauty.
Contrast was the theme of the evening as the model spotted large sparkly hoop earrings as her only jewelry of the evening, standing out among the simple makeup and hairstyle and brightening up her face.
“Iconic” looks all week long
Her Vogue look is just one of many that fans are raving about during her events at London Fashion Week.
She was spotted on the runway earlier in the day in another corset-style dress as she walked to “Creep by Radiohead.”
This black and gold dress was designed by luxury fashion designer Harris Reed.
At a walking show for Michael Coors, Graham showed off her legs in an all-black belted bodysuit and skirt ensemble.
As she prepared for the show, she explained more about her outfit choice.
The star was excited to walk for Michael Kors and claimed her look for the brand has always been “iconic.”
She added that for this particular show she would be wearing “sheer fabric” to show off her “legs.”
